Brewing giants Budweiser, in India like elsewhere, is more of a cultural touchstone than a brand. In 2019 they decided to get into merch—starting with an exclusive line of streetwear to be sold on one of the biggest ecomm platforms in the country.

I developed custom typography and hand-lettering that used the Budweiser logotype and their ‘bowtie’ icon to create various apparel, everything from sweatshirts to pjs. I also created a Devanagari (Hindi script) version of their logo, which went up on a showpiece shirt. Finally, I also designed their “Crush After Use” tee, a tshirt notable for having an eco-friendly message while depicting a crushed Budweiser can—a bold approval from their Product team.
